Alan S. Wernick has, for more than 40 years, been deeply immersed in the developments evolving at the intersection of law, business, and technology, and helping clients navigate that very busy intersection. He is a content creator who has published extensively and presented numerous lectures on his practice areas, and has influenced how businesses and their lawyers think when they interact at the intersection of law, business, and technology. Alan has served on the Board of Advisors for several national and international publications. He currently serves as the Chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Alumni Board for the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. From 2002 to 2016 Alan served as the Chairman of the Board, Advisory Council for Computer Law, Intellectual Property, and Privacy Law for Wolters Kluwer Publishing. Since 2007 he has served as a Fellow at the Ponemon Institute, a privacy think tank. He was the founding chairman of the Computer Law Committee for the Ohio State Bar Association and has served in leadership roles with various committees of the American Bar Association, and is a Contributing Editor for the Business Law Today. Alan previously served on the Board of Directors of the International Technology Law Association (FKA the Computer Law Association).
